“Grow old with me, the best is yet to be.” —Robert Browning
Say what you want, but I think a 25th Wedding Anniversary is even more romantic than the first time. Although not from personal experience, the thought of being with someone for a quarter of a century is a testament of great love. All the guards have come off. What becomes essential in the event is not so much the “dream” wedding suppliers or the “perfect” venue, but simply the love of family and friends surrounding you. And that’s what makes an anniversary special — the love has grown along with the family and the couple gets to share this beautiful occasion with their children.
Noel and Dinna are the perfect example of a couple who have aged gracefully and they were probably more in love now more than ever. Blessed with great kids who were the ones who pushed them to have a renewal of vows in the first place, and great friends who have stuck with them throughout the years, I’d say Noel and Dinna are two people I really admire. Congratulations!
